Datuk Muhammad Azmi Zulkifli is the Chief Executive Officer of InvestKL.

In his current role as Chief Executive Officer, he leads the teams to identify, facilitate, and develop solutions for MNCs to locate their high-value regional hubs in Greater KL and Malaysia. The focus sectors include oil & gas, healthcare, FMCG, business and financial services. To date, the InvestKL team led by Datuk Muhammad Azmi has successfully brought in more than 120 MNCs to set up regional headquarters or hubs within Greater KL.

He joined InvestKL in 2012 as Director of Investor Relations for Europe.

Prior to InvestKL, he has over 16 years of experience in leadership and management positions spanning commercial business, business transformation and operations with MISC Berhad, a subsidiary of Petronas. He participated in MISC’s business transformation initiatives and was part of a leadership team to re-engineer, develop and commission a global ICT system throughout MISC offices globally.

Datuk Muhammad Azmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. Azmi has attended Petronas Management Training programs as well as participated in several Executive Management programs under Harvard Business School and Dale Carnegie Training.

Muhammad Mubarak Ishak



A professional with cross-functional competencies in managing Business Operations, a full spectrum of Accountancy and Corporate Finance. Mubarak started his career in the Construction & Telecommunications Industry as Project Accountant before he joined the Small & Medium Industries Development Corporation (SMIDEC) (now known as SME Corp Malaysia), a government agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 2006 to 2018 where he managed the Development Funds under the 9th & 10th Malaysian Plans.

Acknowledged for sound decision-making talents borne of intense data analysis, business acuity & big-picture vision, Mubarak's experiences cover FMCG, Energy, Technology, and the Healthcare Industry. Prior to joining InvestKL in 2022, he was the Group CEO of UiTM Holdings and a Director of its subsidiaries.

Mubarak holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).

Vivian Sia


Vivian has over 15 years of international business experience in both the private and government sectors. She has held various managerial roles in the areas of business development, marketing, and investment acquisition across various vertical industries.

Prior to joining InvestKL, she has enjoyed roles with organisations such as LexisNexis and Frost & Sullivan, with responsibilities ranging from leading the marketing team for the Southeast Asia region and dealing with large corporate clients.In Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), she was part of the investment acquisition team for North America.

Vivian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management) from Towson University, Maryland USA.

Mah Chun Wai


Poised as a driven and charismatic collaborator with 23 years of proven track record spanning the telecoms, technology and internet service sectors, Mah has a comprehensive functional experience in business development and strategy development, including operational execution, business intelligence, brand management and cross-country responsibility for sales and marketing.

He possesses in-depth market knowledge on Southeast Asia, Indo-China and the Philippines. He also has a robust sense of business acumen with keen focus in Application, Services and Digital New Media, particularly on ‘Over the Top’ (OTT) delivery business strategy for convergence technologies.

Mah started his career as an account manager with Alcatel Malaysia before taking on regional roles within the Alcatel organisation throughout ASEAN. Prior to joining InvestKL, he was the Head of Innovation at TIME dotCom.

Aidil Azman


A career with a global footprint having been based in Western Europe, The Americas, Middle East, The Caribbeans and East Africa, Aidil’s experience covers Fintech, Global Equities, Property Investment, Media Planning and Country Advertorial Reports.

Prior to joining InvestKL, Aidil was part of Sime Darby Property’s Vision Valley Malaysia tasked to attract global catalyst investments into various development components from Logistics & Aviation MRO, International University & Sports Academy and Themed Parks & Attractions. Aidil was also part of Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s business development team, where he was responsible in driving user acquisition through innovative partnership collaborations and campaigns with industry leading brands. Aidil’s early career in Country Advertorial Reports brought him around the world and was based in 9 countries, covering 4 continents.

Aidil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Society and Media Studies from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. He has a keen passion in Personal Finance and Wealth Management and enjoys reading and researching to continually widen and enrich his knowledge base.


Yam Hui Min


Since joining InvestKL in 2011, Hui Min’s roles include providing consultative support to and developing strategic business proposals for global multinationals from Japan, Europe and Americas region interested in establishing regional management functions and activities in Greater Kuala Lumpur. She conducts research and analysis on global economic trend, market outlook, industry ecosystem as well as regional fiscal incentives and tax laws.

One of her key projects at InvestKL was the development of the Principal Hub Incentive. She performed functional benchmarking and competitors’ analysis study, working directly with the Malaysian Ministry of Finance and National Committee of Investment.

In the course of her work, she gained industry exposure in oil & gas, industrial product, engineering and digital initiatives. Her work experiences also include BNP Paribas in Equity Research, and Ernst & Young in Assurance & Advisory Business Services.

Hui Min holds a BA (Honors) Economics and Finance from the University of Manchester, and an MSc Economics and Finance from the University of Bath.

Engku Nur Anis Adila Engku Hamzah

Jason Cheng


Jason joined InvestKL in 2011 as the Special Officer to the CEO. Jason brought with him a varied business development and technical background in IT and Telecommunications.

He assisted the CEO’s Office during its formative years in ensuring the company’s focus on its mandate and deliverables and communications with key government stakeholders.

As the lead for Special Projects, Jason continues to leverage his experience in delivering good outcome on complex multi-stakeholder and multi-term strategic initiatives in his new role to ensure InvestKL remains the foremost investment promotion agency for Global Services.

Jason holds a BSc (Honors) in Applied Computing from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom.
